This policy explains how busfareup handles personal information when you use our independent online bus card recharge service for hafilat cards in Abu Dhabi. We keep data collection to the minimum a top-up needs.

What we collect

  • Top-up details: the hafilat card number and the amount you choose. The card number is used to process the top-up and is not kept as a stored profile.
  • Contact details: an email address if you ask for a receipt, or your name, email and message if you use the contact form.
  • Payment data: entered directly with our payment processor over an encrypted connection. We do not see or store full card numbers.
  • Basic technical data: standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) used to keep the service secure and working.

Why we use it

We use this information to process a top-up, send a receipt or reply, prevent fraud, and meet legal and accounting obligations in the UAE. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising profiles.

Cookies

This site uses only the cookies needed for it to function and to remember your language choice. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser; the recharge form will still work.

Sharing

We share data only with the payment processor and the systems needed to deliver a top-up, and with authorities where the law requires it. We do not share rider details with third parties for marketing.

Retention

Transaction records are kept only as long as needed for accounting and dispute handling, then deleted or anonymised. Contact messages are kept until your question is resolved and for a reasonable follow-up period.

Your choices

You can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. To make a request, email support@busfareup.org. Newsletter emails include a one-click unsubscribe link in every message.
